We carefully and skillfully apply your sealcoating by BRUSHING IT ONTO AND INTO THE ASPHALT BUT NEVER BY SPRAYING IT!
Spraying a sealcoating on asphalt merely deposits a paper-thin top layer which will, before very long, just wash away in rainfall leaving the asphalt subject to rapid deterioration by both normal wear and weather.
Application by brushing sealant onto and into the asphalt, which is the way we do it, allows us to provide your driveway/walkway with a richer and thicker coating which will last much longer than a sealer which is simply "sprayed" onto the surface of the asphalt!
We work by scheduled appointments ONLY!
If someone with a "sealcoating truck" should happen to come down your street and tell you that they can sealcoat your driveway/walkway and it will be really cheap but it has to be done right then and there and only for cash, send them on their way.
They will give you a "low-ball" price which will be almost irresistible but they will use a sub-standard and inferior product which will not, in any way, protect your driveway. After they finish their "work" they will be long gone along with the money that you paid them for a totally worthless job! When their so-called "sealer" runs down and off your driveway into the street during the next rainfall it will be then that you will discover that their "bargain" price wasn't really such a "bargain" after all! Some bogus and self-proclaimed "driveway specialists" even resort to spraying used motor oil on your driveway!
Here is how you can tell if they're phonies! Demand to inspect the inside cargo area of their truck BEFORE they begin the job and BEFORE any money "changes hands!" If you don't see a large mixing tank securely bolted to the floor of their truck and if you don't hear the tank's mixer motor running you will NOT be getting a 100% genuine coal-tar-based sealant mixture which is the genuine article and the ONLY first-quality product that we use! To maintain the rich and thick quality of the sealant it positively MUST be kept mixed continually, throughout the working day, until it is brushed onto your asphalt! If the phony "sealcoating vehicle" DOES NOT have a "mixing tank" on board with the mixer motor running then you will be paying for, and getting a sub-standard and inferior job!
Brushing the sealant onto the asphalt and thereby letting it absorb deeply into the asphalt allows us to provide your driveway/walkway with a richer, thicker and more durable coating which will last longer than any "sealer" which is simply "sprayed" onto it!
It's far better to protect your driveway/walkway by having us sealcoat it just once a year rather than you having to bear the expense of totally replacing it because of weather-related deterioration!
